A Build Team is a great way for your group to give back to this community and share in Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

We recommend Build Teams consist of 8 to 10 individuals. It can be your coworkers, neighbors, club members, friends & family, or faith group. Anyone can join a Build Team! No experience is necessary.

How do Build Teams work?
Your team will set a fundraising goal to support affordable housing in this community. Whether it’s a church bake sale, a community car wash, or a casual Friday at the office, we are here to help promote and support your events.

Once you reach your goal, the fun begins!

Your team gets their very own day on the construction site. Our skilled construction staff works hand in hand with you - no previous experience is needed. Your team learns new skills, grows stronger relationships with each other, and makes a tangible difference in the lives of local families in need of safety and stability.

What will our Build Day look like?
Your Build Day starts at 9 am and ends at noon. There is a break at 10:30 a with light refreshments provided. Please bring a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. We also recommend a hat or sunglasses and sunblock if it is a bright, sunny day.
